Born in the 70's in the small fishing town of Zihuatanejo, México, Raymury (Ray) and his family relocated to California's Bay Area when he was in grade school. Ray's artistic spark began early and his adventures in various forms and mediums developed naturally, inspired by the natural world of his hometown and new country. In the year 2000, he took his then girlfriend (current wife's) suggestion to take some art classes at College of Marin. On his first day of classes, his jewelry teacher took notice of his talents and hired him as a full-time apprentice and assistant jeweler. Ray was astonished by having no experience one day to working on high-end, intricate jewelry designs the next day. More than 25 years later, he continues to enjoy the discovery of jewelry design in his original work, as well as contracting with several local shops, galleries, and pawnshops. Solving design puzzles, restoring antique or sentimental pieces and learning new techniques help to maintain his life-long interest. Drawing on historic influences such as ancient Egyptian jewelry and enameling, the focus of his current designs is story-telling. He hopes his unique pieces speak to the wearer and others.

Either by visiting his shop in-person, or purchasing online, thousands of customers worldwide call Ray their jeweler. Customers may come with fully formed designs or will work alongside Ray to make their wishes come true. He has made custom jewelry for several famous musical artists and anyone who desires a unique piece of jewelry. On his days off from work, he loves spending time with his wife, his boy/girl twins and his dogs. Surfing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, and playing guitar help to nourish his spirit.

Due to the individual and thoughtful nature of the designs, Ray focuses on a limited inventory of expertly crafted pieces.  Please email for questions about special orders.
